Kathy is an original member of Keen Keen & Good, LLC and has over 35 years of legal experience, focusing in estate planning, estate administration, and elder law. Kathy has developed and refined the firm’s estate administration and elder law practices, which represent a significant portion the firm’s expertise today. She served on the Board of Directors of the Coatesville Senior Center in 2015, and now conducts regular seminars relating to important topics in estate planning and elder law.
As a former schoolteacher, Kathy has never lost her enthusiasm for education. She sees her profession as an outlet to engage with clients and provide them with the tools to make important and lasting decisions. As a member of the National Association of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA), Kathy has attended national elder law conferences in Denver, Phoenix, Boston and Washington D.C. These events help to keep her practice current and provide a broader perspective of the issues facing the elderly. She is enthusiastic about sharing this information through local seminars, online, and in her practice.
After raising a family on a small farm in Glenmoore, she transitioned with her husband, Kevin, to a local 55 and older community. She has found the experience helpful in guiding clients as they prepare to do the same. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and now devotes her time to overseeing the Keen family historic estate in Lancaster County as a Trustee of the Bartshire Preservation Trust.
